Corrèze department
Corrèze (Occitan: Corresa) is a department in south central France. It was named after the Corrèze River. It is one of the first 83 French departments made during the French revolution. It is in the Limousin region and its prefecture is Tulle. Its population is about 232,600 (1999 census).
