Jōtoku (承徳?) was a Japanese era name (年号, nengō,?, lit. "year name") after Eichō and before Kōwa. This period started in November 1097 and ended in August 1099.[1] The reigning emperor was Emperor Horikawa-tennō (嘉保天皇?).[2]
